Deplorable Customer Service Experiences
Let's first start off with the fact that Vonage assigned us a dedicated account manager when we need assistance only to receive a notification we now don't qualify for this manager because we don't spend enough a month. Basically, you only matter if they get a lot of money off of you. Shows customer service is not a focus. Number held hostage by Vonage
Have had Vonage for five years and the price has more than doubled. Since everyone I know and all my accounts have this number, I decided to port my Vonage number to a mobile provider for more features and less cost.Vonage is refusing to give a FOC (Firm Order Commitment) for my number to go to the new carrier. REVIEW IS UPDATED TO REFLECT POSITIVE ACTION BY VONAGE. My original review read: "Something grave has changed with Vonage customer service. I had used Vonage for years without incident. However, lately, the off-shore customer service not only suffers from serious language barriers, but cognitive impairment. I'm still on hold trying to cancel my…
I'm still on hold trying to cancel my account. He keeps delaying, and making it sound like its some great bargain. Still on hold keeps telling me... incredibly sneaky, wants to take advantage of me, they keep charging for Vonage to my bank account, but I haven't used it in over 18 months!

Extremely Bad Account Handling
I had asked the Account Executive to cancel the service from the cycle ending around April 25th 2021. The account executive cancelled the service effective immediately. The communication from Vonage is extremely bad. They are not taking care of the customers. I have paid money until April 25th 2021. They have not prorated my account either.

Customer service is non-existent.
I pay Vonage without issue each month on a credit card and have for several years. I tried to get a statement through their customer service. They don’t have real customer service. I cannot get any information from them; no statement, no invoice! But they don’t mind getting paid each month.

NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT
NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT. Beware, you will loose business as I did. We depend on communications through the phone. If you are a business, DO NOT MAKE THIS MISTAKE OF GOING TO VONAGE BUSINESS. Go with other companies instead. For as big as this company is, it is Very Poorly managed.

Absolutely terrible customer service
Absolutely terrible customer service. Non existent. Ive used vonage for over ten years and need to cancel. Its been three months and still cant cancel. Cancellation department is non existent. You call and you get an empty line. I call customer service and they say theyll transfer me, promise that someone is there... Surprise surprise when i get transferred, i get an empty line. Im starting to think that this company is run by fraudsters.
