Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Userlytics is built for remote user testing with support for TestFlight and Android apps. Before shortlisting, verify that your test scenarios fit the platform's strength: identifying specific UX friction points through recorded sessions and task completion data. The pricing model charges per test slot rather than per participant, which can add up quickly if you ...Read more

Something besides a fluff piece or cryptic complaint

Hey, Userlytics, how about replying to a validly negative review instead of just thanking people for the ones you've probably paid for as little fluff pieces? You've already made a truly terrible impression after I've just barely started trying your platform. What's the problem? You ask for all sorts of personal details supposedly meant to match a user with surveys and tests that will fit them, right? And then on the odd occasion you actually send an invite, it's off in the middle of the ...

I first registered with userlytics.com…

I first registered with userlytics.com about a month ago however every opportunity that I tried to join was either sent to me at 1-4 am my time or I was told that I was not suitable for the review. So in 1 month, I have not had any work from this company, and all I can think it that they are harvesting email addresses. I would waste my time on them.

Racist & Evil

They started the new quite evil and derogatory like. They’re doing that racist thing where they profile you before they select you, and they are only allowing tests to people in other countries. This would’ve been ok for one or two tests, but this has been constant for pretty every test (over 10). Avoid em! They’re racist & evil.

I didn't even get through their T&Cs

Wow I went into this after reading all the 1* reviews, expecting nothing good to come out of it and I didn't even get through their T&Cs before I deleted the app. It reads like your typical US employment laws, everyone gets screwed but the employer - They basically own all your IP and don't even have to pay you, just throw you an excuse and there's nothing you can do about it.

"Simple, straightforward user test setup"

What do you like best about Userlytics? The dashboard is very well organized and intuitive. The ability to organize by teams and projects is very useful for our complex organizations. Test setup is simple and straightforward. Results are available quickly, and our reps are always there to help out. What do you dislike about Userlytics? The pricing model can be very confusing, I still need reminders for how our credits work and what each test will cost. What problems is Userlytics solving ...

"Allows us to get customer feedback 10x faster and cheaper"

What do you like best about Userlytics? Userlytics allows us to gather customer feedback 10x faster and cheaper than we would if we worked with a research vendor. It has been an invaluable tool for us and built trust with our development team. We recently ran a quantiative survey (n = 100) and received results in a few hours. This would've been at least a 30-day project with a vendor (kick-off meeting, proposal, contract signing, questionnaire development, fielding, results). The customer ...
