Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Trello's Kanban boards work well for task tracking and team collaboration, but assess your actual needs before committing. The search function doesn't cover archived cards, so ...Read more
Trello pros and cons
Easy for new and experienced users to operate with minimal setup time.
Excellent tool for task organization with Kanban-style boards, drag-and-drop functionality, and customizable labels.
Supports team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and task delegation in remote or shift-based work environments.
Supports project tracking with features like checklists, due dates, color-coded alerts, and real-time updates to enhance productivity and clarity.
Limited capability for handling large or complex projects due to the lack of advanced features compared to specialized project management tools.
Archived tasks and boards are difficult to retrieve or review, causing frustration for long-term task tracking.

"Flexible project management for free!"
What do you like best about Trello? I love that Trello can integrate with a variety of power-ups to make it even more powerful than a simple task management system. I recently used the BigPicture power up to map my cards on a gantt-style diagram, allowing me to plan a summer's worth of projects in a simple (and free!) fashion. The columns and cards are able to be set up in as many ways as you can imagine, making this a great program for a variety of applications. What do you dislike about ...

"A Visual Way to Move Projects from A to Z!"
What do you like best about Trello? I love the highly visual and very user-friendly UX/UI that Trello offers. It allows for strong ability to collaborate, move things through the project pipeline and gives project managers a leg up when managing tasks and projecting upcoming items. I also love that you can go very granular with checklists for each card that can be copied over to new cards or lists. What do you dislike about Trello? One thing I wish was possible within Trello is the ability ...

"A simple and efficient Agile Project Management tool!!"
What do you like best about Trello? Trello allows us to create cards in three buckets - To do, Doing, and Done. The best part about it is that you can add your team members to the card as task owner and assign dependencies and due dates. You can also easily move a card to the Doing column or Done column through a simple Drag and Drop! What do you dislike about Trello? Sub points in Checklists cannot be assigned any owner in the non-premium version. This would have been a really good feature ...
