Good for a restaurant, not a volume bar.

This products interface is great and would work well in most restaurant settings. Unfortunately for a high volume bar, this wasn’t very useful. There are not enough shortcuts to work quicker and too many steps to ring things in and cash out.

Live support and follow up is lacking

The product is good but the support is lacking. I still am waiting on answered to several questions and also have ask for info on new products that I still haven’t received.

Toast is for the most part very easy to understand and user-friendly. I'd say that my biggest complaint is the organization of things on the back end. There are like 5 different places to look when making changes to takeout options, for instance. Also wish Toast support was a little more human-interaction-based, but I know times are tough.

Equipment and Support

The hand held continues to be a problem and especially the card readers. Getting immediate support on a busy night at the restaurant is a major problem. Customers do not like to wait hours to resolve issues.

Support didn't resolve my issue

Support didn't resolve my issue. He said he will elevate my case up to networking team but 4 days later I still didn't get any follow up call from networking team. My issue still exists.

Great POS for new business

As a new business owner, so many choices were available for POS. It was one of the easiest installations and support was there from the very beginning. The system is very user friendly and quick to learn. The only item that could be approved is the offline occurrences. When you are creating tabs and offline, it slows down the process. Aside from that, great POS choice for a business.

We implemented Toast because of the features available for take out and hand held devices needed because of the Pandemic. Why did we wait so long to convert to a great system because it also improved on the way we process our reporting of Sales numbers more efficiently and also improved in handling our tickets in the kitchen.
