We implemented Toast because of the…

We implemented Toast because of the features available for take out and hand held devices needed because of the Pandemic. Why did we wait so long to convert to a great system because it also improved on the way we process our reporting of Sales numbers more efficiently and also improved in handling our tickets in the kitchen.

We switched from another software…

We switched from another software (after 4 years), and so happy we did. Bigger easier monitor for our staff, easy to use screen for the customers. Way more intuitive for our menu, and the kitchen screen is a great tool. More reports for us to monitor our sales and margins.

We switched from another software (after 4 years), and so happy we did. Bigger easier monitor for our staff, easy to use screen for the customers. Way more intuitive for our menu, and the kitchen screen is a great tool. More reports for us to monitor our sales and margins.

Equipment and Support

The hand held continues to be a problem and especially the card readers. Getting immediate support on a busy night at the restaurant is a major problem. Customers do not like to wait hours to resolve issues.

Horrible customer service

Dealing with minor technical issues has involved hours on the phone with multiple customer service representatives who are unable to give a clear answer. My company was unable to activate the gift cards we had already purchased from Toast in the Toast software without multiple hours on the phone--a task that is incredibly important to the operation of our business and should be incredibly straightforward.
