PROS: Enterprise level solution for our franchise at a fraction of the cost of the other "tier 1" systems CONS: Customer support is border line useless at Level 1. The infrastructure of the company is still not fully compatible with franchise systems but is heading in a good direction.

ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!

ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I would do whatever possible to avoid using toast. The service has gotten so bad and they are dishonest. They charged me full price for things that were supposed to be covered under warranty. I have spent HOURS on the phone trying to solve the problems and nothing. Just wasted time, stress, and frustration. Probably going to be switching to Square soon…..

Not for small business

Toast may be a great POS system, but it seems I’ll never know. I paid for $5000 worth of equipment, and I can’t get someone to teach me how to use it. The customer service is a joke if you have a serious issue. There is one level of customer service via phone, and anything escalated requires an email or call back. I’ve been trying to solve a serious issue with them for months so I can finally reopen my business post-COVID. Just remember that you are nothing but dollars to them, and if ...

Great POS

PROS: Thats a good question. There are a lot but I would have to say the dependability and intuitive layout. CONS: My biggest complaint is the support line. The staff does not seem well prepared for anything other than checking settings. I've found two legitimate bugs that I had to call back and re-explain the problem several times each. I was told everytime that it would get sent to a higher level tech for review which may or maynot have happened as there is no way to see how bugs are ...

I would write a review, but...

I would write a review, but, I know it's a waste of my time. The last time I had a telephone conversation with someone from Toast who was interested in what I had to say, all he did was deny, deflect, and defend the problems I pointed out.

Best POS on the Market

PROS: Cost effective way to get a powerful, easy to use system CONS: I wish the integrations were a bit more robust, but it will get there. With payroll providers, etc.
