Great company
Great company, great product. A little pricey. Customer service is sad. I think they grew too fast to keep knowledgeable service reps

The POS system itself operates nicely BUT....
The POS system itself operates nicely, but if you are moving from a current system to Toast, I recommend extreme caution. The merging of data from our old system and the gift card and rewards card program, was not done properly. Toast could not rectify the situation even after many attempts they could not properly match and migrate our data. Today, a year plus later, the situation is still not resolved and causes continuous issues.

We love the platform
We love the platform, easy to use and easy to learn. Only issue we've experienced is constant problems with the Bluetooth edynamo card readers. Finally upgraded to the integrated USB card readers and they have been problem free.

reports are easy to use
reports are easy to use, system as a whole is pretty simple. help department is hit or miss. You either get someone amazing or someone who isn't listening and give you an answer that makes no sense to your problem?

Great Software and Hardware, but Service is terrible
While the hardware and software are great, service before implementation and since going live has been terrible.

There has been speed issues and issues…
There has been speed issues and issues with clearing cache and old orders so they don’t show up while closing future transactions.

I have used Toast for several months
I have used Toast for several months, and there were a few hang ups in the beginning. However, Toast support has always resolved issues quickly, and the system itself is easy to use and adapt to my restaurant’s individual needs.

I absolutely love the toast post system. It works great where I work an we couldn't do with out it
