Spotsaas Editor’s POV
TeamViewer's free tier is genuinely useful for occasional personal remote access—screen sharing, file transfer, and unattended access all work without payment limits. The interface is straightforward: connect, authenticate, control. For business use, the paid plans ($49–$99/month depending on features) add session recording, multi-monitor support, and priority ...Read more

An effective method of remote control 99% of the time!
What do you like best? Teamviewer is quite intuitive. I find that unlike many other softwares, you don't need to google how to do something, the UI just makes things simple. What do you dislike? At the moment, mouse mis-tracking of sorts is an issue, where the mouse of the computer doing the controlling isn't in the same place as the mouse of the computer being controlled. I've contacted team-viewer and they said that A this only occurs for some users, and B this should be fixed in an ...

What do you like best? The application is useful to repair computers remotely with the convenience of being in your workplace and connect to another computer anywhere in the world and regardless of operating system installed. I would also highlight the security that the application implements to avoid connections without consent since in each connection you have to enter a different password. Teamviewer allows to perform a large number of actions in each of these remote connections, ...

Makes remote support an absolute breeze
What do you like best? As a help desk technician, being able to take over a remote user's PC is a godsend. Teamviewer makes remote support almost as easy as desk side support. Even after my company removed admin privileges from all standard users, Teamviewer still made it easy to connect and authenticate with admin credentials to implement whatever fix was required. What do you dislike? Occasionally I would run into issues with connecting to the remote PC, and after several attempts ...

Remotely assist any user with ease
What do you like best? Quick to remote into any user's machine, regardless of network connection. What do you dislike? Administration on a fleet of macs is extremely difficult and nearly impossible to deploy. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? No need to guess what a user is looking at - can remote in and solve the problem 10x faster than without screen-sharing.

Remote Tech Support Made Easy
What do you like best? The amount of calls I receive a day from our employees claiming something on their computer isn't working averages close to 20. That's a lot considering only 15 employees have company issued devices. With TeamViewer I can remote in and fix whatever the problem may be without having the actual device or attempting to used kindergarten language to walk our electricians through the generally simple solution. What do you dislike? If only the installation was more ...
