Spotsaas Editor’s POV
TeamViewer's free tier is genuinely useful for occasional personal remote access—screen sharing, file transfer, and unattended access all work without payment limits. The interface is straightforward: connect, authenticate, control. For business use, the paid plans ($49–$99/month depending on features) add session recording, multi-monitor support, and priority ...Read more

Company is violating Florida statutes with autorenewal practices
Company is violating Florida statutes that require notification of autorenewal 45 to 60 days prior to charging credit card on file. "Amber" at support confirmed that the email was never sent but said it was because I had "opted out" of emails. I emphatically stated that I was only opting out of marketing & other type emails, NOT waving my right to be notified of autorenewals. They were clearly able to get the invoice to me at 11:57pm on the last date of the original contract period, but ...

Teamviewer uses deceptive business…
Teamviewer uses deceptive business practices to trick you into auto-renewal and to cancel the subscription is almost impossible. Call their support number and you'll be the 28th person inline before your call will be answered. I don't know how this company gets away with this non sense!

Used to be great - now dangerously unreliable.
Used to be great - and although I only used it every few months for checking PC at home while away, it worked very well. Then (a couple of year ago, forced additional security (could not opt out if you sittuation isn't mission critical you had to validate each new device by email...And that's great providing you are not signing on remotely to CHECK your emails. Can you see the problem there? TV didn't.So ended up changing TV email to one I could get on the phone - and it worked again - a ...

Stay away! They are scamming their clients
We had a product for about 500$ a year. It didn't work as they hadn't connected the license to our account for 6 months - no complementary extension, no refund. We cancelled our subscriptions approximately 2 weeks before renewal, but they demanded one extra years payment. Using a policy of cancellation where you have to cancel 28 days before renewal they are now threatening us with a debt collection agency. Here a snippet of the last message from the TeamViewer "support":"Attached is a copy ...

Don't Get Conned into Using TeamVeiwer
This platform is one thing....unreliable. I can't count how many times in a year I had to call support to make a remote connection. Warning, in the fine print it says that to end subscription you must follow a very narrow protocol to cancel 28 days in advance prior to the end of the term, or they will steal another $588 from you. I told them I wanted to cancel and sought a rebate for unused time. They refused to rebate and then drafted my account claiming I didn't cancel as per their ...

Do not buy it. EVER.
Do not buy it. Do not give them your credit card number EVER! Or you will be on the merry-go-around of cancelation/debt collectors if you do not renew.Their cancellation process is against so many laws in the US. Don't let them force you into paying by sending your debt to collections. Here if you don't pay for a service, it gets canceled. Period. Apparently they believe they can strong-arm you into paying by sending it to collections. Will never buy again, and will tell all the IT clients ...

Upgrade still not working
We have used TeamViewer for some time for remote access to some of our customers mobile phones. This worked well up to June 2019 when they installed an upgrade for Nokia 3 phones and since then we have been unable to connect to these. No progress with this since the (now Sept 2019, despite repeated emails.

Very useful software
PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? Thanks to chat and call features I can interact with my customers, and solve their issues by using this wonderful system TeamViewer. It is time saving and saves money as well. I can access to my client’s computers from home, I can guide them, teach them and help them whenever they have issues with using the product. What aspects are problematic or could work better? If I use 4 to 6 hour continuously then the system is very slow. ...
