Spotsaas Editor’s POV

TeamViewer's free tier is genuinely useful for occasional personal remote access—screen sharing, file transfer, and unattended access all work without payment limits. The interface is straightforward: connect, authenticate, control. For business use, the paid plans ($49–$99/month depending on features) add session recording, multi-monitor support, and priority ...Read more

Terrible company

Terrible company - Product can be very flakey sometimes - unable to connect - although logs submitted to Teamviewer very little technical assistance - no fix - not great technical help.A great product when you don't have issues though - kind of - but what isn't good when it is good. The subscription is the kicker - trying to cancel is like pulling your own teeth out - The customer service is aggressive, almost intimidating and rude at best - based in Germany I believe. They just want their ...

Trust your remote partners

What do you like best? It is a remote support technology which helps in screen sharing on iOS devices and helps to control your desktop. You can do it through your mobiles and on any internet connection, we are very much satisfied with its services as it has kept our data quite safe. It has various great features and functions. I would say it is playing an important role in our company. What do you dislike? It is not so efficient in uploading the files and also exhibits some backup ...

Great tool to work abroad and especially from China since you don't need a separate vpn

What do you like best? In built VPN and stable connection with sorry for multiple screens. What do you dislike? In general it works great, but sometimes the drag and drop of files doesn't work. Recommendations to others considering the product: Note: we are not allowed to make screenshots on company laptop so I cannot upload evidence What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Working abroad on company systems without security issues

Remote support made simple

What do you like best? It is relatively easy to make the connection to another computer and doesn't require the user on the other end to have much technical knowledge to get things up and running, other than what I describe below in the dislike section. It is secure, a new password is generated for each session. What do you dislike? I have not been successful in getting stored computers with unattended access to connect. The software is telling me that all is set up properly, ...

Highway robbery

Agree with all the other reviews about this company being thieves - they advertise a monthly subscription fee, but when you sign up they deduct one year's worth of fees. Then they ASSUME you are renewing for a second year and send you nasty invoices with threats of debt collection, when you never wanted to renew in the first place. And customer service is awful - you cannot cancel through the software, you can't email them, you HAVE to call and then the person cannot cancel it for you over ...

My go to tool for remote access.

What do you like best? I have been using TeamViewer for the last 4 years for remote work. I have tried many alternatives and compared their performance with that of Teamviewer which is the easiest to use and set up. I have to work on multiple remote computers and TeamViewer allows me to keep multiple connections open simultaneously which helps me shift computers easily. File transfer function is really convenient, just a simple drag and drop or copy paste. Whenever I'm away from a ...

Do not recommend Teamviewer at all

Do not recommend Teamviewer at all. Their customer service is awful and be sure if you do go with them that you cancel your service more than 1 month prior to when it renews or you will be on the hook for the full amount of the coming year. It is like any other no service subscription service. Plus, their customer support is terrible to say the least. Suggest you use something other than teamviewer.
