Spotsaas Editor’s POV

TeamViewer's free tier is genuinely useful for occasional personal remote access—screen sharing, file transfer, and unattended access all work without payment limits. The interface is straightforward: connect, authenticate, control. For business use, the paid plans ($49–$99/month depending on features) add session recording, multi-monitor support, and priority ...Read more

  • Reliable and stable performance, ensuring stable and uninterrupted connections even over long distances.

  • Convenient for remote troubleshooting, aiding users in helping elderly or less tech-savvy family members.

TeamViewer is reliable, simple and free support software. I would surely recommend it

What do you like best? I like TeamViewer for multiple reasons. First, it is software that can be accessed from both desktop computers and mobile devices. Second, it is possible to control a computer remotely only by entering the partner ID and password. Third, the software has very good security features like automatic password renewal and two-factor authentication. Fourth, the file transfer is remarkably fast. Finally, I like that it is possible to use a non-commercial version and enjoy ...

Teamviewer was a breakthrough in the world of remote work

What do you like best? With teamviewer it is totally feasible to be able to schedule online conferences, for which only a link is needed that the same platform provides. These can be private, in the case of computer maintenance work, or can be scheduled to be carried out with several people. What do you dislike? The teamviewer platform does not allow us to create brainstorms in which people within the session can share what they think and that they are written down for future ...

no reminder, then suddenly 1000 USD RECURRING PAYMENT during COVID

I have been using TeamViewer for many years. Last year, I decided to pay for the software so they charged me 1000 USD for the full year's subscription. I used it for some time. But then I could not use if because (1) The software was not fast and convenient enough for the connections I have from where I conenct (2) TeamViewer did not allow me to communicate and use the software with my assistant, and asked another 1000 USD (she was only using this software with me). So I have not been using ...

Useful tools

What do you like best? Private people are able to utilize the service free of charge. Formany years I have been working on TeamViewer. The laptop or computer has to be changed and the app must be working simultaniously with all other programs. This by itself enables you to connect from a remote location. By doing this, you are able to now name the products of yours - for instance laptops, desktops - to figure out which one is actually best for you. That is a great idea. What do you ...

Remote system necessary for work at home.

What do you like best? Being able to communicate from a place whether for work or presentation is essential to use the conference or chat system, but allowing us to communicate from one computer to another that is at the other end of the world is superior, the software that TeamViewer offers us is It is totally basic to add a code and the remote tool automatically works, with this you can use your documents, copy documents, navigate on your computer while being elsewhere.   I ...

Teamviewer appeared to improve our working life with its video quality

What do you like best? Teamviewer is very tight with the information that is shared with customers. In other words, there is a good level of confidentiality within teamviewer, which has helped us to offer reliable services where we expose our work plans without fear of being spied on by third parties. In addition to that, we can visualize at all times which individuals are viewing our exposed content. Starting with a session, regardless of whether it's a phone call or something else, is ...

no longer worth

What do you like best? When it works it is great, but I do not know what a mess they do that is always incompatible with itself. Since you don't have the exact same version on the local and remote, there is no way. I have version 15.4 in one and 15.0 in another and "they are not compatilbes". What are they thinking about? If you want it to help a friend or help you, the only way is to uninstall it and reinstall the latest version both at the same time. And even then it may not be ...

DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR SCAM

They were selling discounted licenses few months ago to people who already had some bought before >> The deal was like this: you get additional license (for 2 years) for the price of let's say $800/year (Instead let's say $1000). BUT, it turned out that the first year of the 'discounted' license was connected to your current license expiration date, so it WAS not valid for a full year, just for few more months until my initial license expired. It turned out I bought OVERPRICED short ...

fulfills the role of remote assistance

What do you like best? Excellent application for remote control. It has a very good response speed, a very well polished interface and good options when it comes to being connected remotely with other equipment. What do you dislike? So far everything is going well, it allows me to connect without problems and with a very good response time. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It is a very necessary application to solve problems ...
