Spotsaas Editor’s POV

TeamViewer's free tier is genuinely useful for occasional personal remote access—screen sharing, file transfer, and unattended access all work without payment limits. The interface is straightforward: connect, authenticate, control. For business use, the paid plans ($49–$99/month depending on features) add session recording, multi-monitor support, and priority ...Read more

  • Easy-to-use interface, suitable for users of all technical levels, enhancing user experience.

  • Reliable and stable performance, ensuring stable and uninterrupted connections even over long distances.

  • Convenient for remote troubleshooting, aiding users in helping elderly or less tech-savvy family members.

Rotten

Rotten. Syphilis for Mac. Can't remove it. The company won't help.....they send you and email with a path of action that doesn't work. My whole system is hostage to it....gotta go into Mac now and have them delete the virus called - Team Viewer.

Not given the option to cancel now threating

Claimed they sent a renewal notice... however this was during COVID when business was shut thus impossible to action and cancel. Now refusing to cancel and threating collection agency. Really bad company to deal with.

The best program for remote collaboration

What do you like best? Easy control over many other resources. Customers are able to deal with this remotely with a virtual machine, which makes management easier. Installation of applications is convenient and easy. You can use keyboard shortcuts and commands. What do you dislike? This can be included in various other foreign direct investments to help it. Try to push for an upgrade to a completely different release. The file transfer is actually slow. Recommendations to ...

Awful experience

Awful experience, they never replied to the ticket I raised about an issue, I had to follow up with a call 10 days later when I had heard nothing. The price is extortionate and I was informed I could downgrade to a remote access as I use teamviewer for one client only. Now weeks later they say I cannot! Completely disjointed. I have been a customer for several years and I will be changing to an alternative if the matter is not sorted.

remote connection to my computer

What do you like best? Easy to use without supervision, as well as the ability to create several groups to manage my remote computers. The internal chat is helpful in contacting remote workers a lot of people and end customers. What do you dislike? Sometimes Teamviewer does let me get to it when there is a demand from an administrator, and sometimes Teamviewer logs out there when I try logging out and logs in to Windows with an administrator account. Recommendations to others ...

Remote help

What do you like best? I believe it is good that you are able to get a free model with features that are great and definitely quickly & efficient file transfer. The favorite feature of mine is actually convention since it's a floating public display screen. Any product is able to try TeamViewer, whether it is telephone, tablet, desktop... What do you dislike? At the start it's a little challenging, because there's no tutorial before making use of the system. Recommendations to ...

Great remote support software with a few quirks

What do you like best? Connections to machines are as easy as double-clicking a host in your list (once you've setup the necessary passwords). Previously we used VNC to connect, which worked great until Windows brought out their security prompts that prevents a VNC connection from broadcasting what is seen on screen. You'd have to rely on the end user to click OK before your session would resume. With Teamviewer, any prompts, including administrative credential prompts are easily seen, ...
