Spotsaas Editor’s POV

TeamViewer's free tier is genuinely useful for occasional personal remote access—screen sharing, file transfer, and unattended access all work without payment limits. The interface is straightforward: connect, authenticate, control. For business use, the paid plans ($49–$99/month depending on features) add session recording, multi-monitor support, and priority ...Read more

  • Free for personal use, making it accessible for occasional users helping family and friends without the need to pay for a license.

  • Easy-to-use interface, suitable for users of all technical levels, enhancing user experience.

  • Reliable and stable performance, ensuring stable and uninterrupted connections even over long distances.

  • Convenient for remote troubleshooting, aiding users in helping elderly or less tech-savvy family members.

We need to stand up against companies like this…

We need to stand up against companies like this that treat customers like dirt. We have been sent a debt collection notice for a license that Teamviewer themselves admit we did not use. We have received 0 correspondence from them notifying us that we have a license (account) that is unpaid. It recurred on an old account and we haven't used it in 2 years, they are, however, happy to charge us even though it was unused. Not to mention the fact that we had an active corporate license during ...

Really bad company to deal with

Really bad company to deal with, they opened up a second account for me and billed me twice. They sent a dept collection agency after the bill, I explained, they apologised but then they still look for payment of the second bill. I can't physically use 2 team viewers at the same time, why would I require 2? This companies customer service is beyond useless, the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing. I am looking for alternatives now. The software is solid but the customer service ...

Never dealt with a company that hates…

Never dealt with a company that hates it's customers only to double down on their hatred when they leave in droves. Instead of realizing their horrible billing and continually restrictive use policies design to force more profits out of their loyal base was actually driving people away. They continue to reduce options and services in an attempt to force their partners and end users into unneeded licensing. They'll also send you to collections in a heartbeat. Stay away.

Shady Invoice Policies

Really shady policies.Wont allow us to see when invoice is being invoiced, nor lets us cancel through the dashboard.Just got invoices for a year when i try to cancel since i only cancled 4 days before the invoice period.Note that i could not see when i was invoiced so there was no way to know when to cancel my subscription.Id stay away and use anydesk instead. Its alot cheaper and better in all ways.

Disgusting company

This previously reputable company was taken over by casino capitalists that are trying to maximize short term profits without any regard whatsoever for customer satisfaction, reputation, long term survival or even the law. The only thing that matters is pump up this years financial figures in order to sell the company to poor souls that will be stuck with disatisfied customers. The first thing they did was to just simply shut down customer service. They can now only be reached using a very ...

It's just the worst experience ever. PLEASE stay away from them!

PLEASE stay away from TeamViewer. I never had this bad experience with any company. I paid for one year subscription (in 2019) and used it for one year. I did not pay in 2020 beacuse I didn't want to renew my subscription. Today (2021-01-12) I got an email from some debt collecting company saying that I must pay them for one year subscription + additional charges. They deserve a class action lawsuit. Please be vocal about this. Use Twitter and other platforms to tell the people to stay away ...
