Usually excellent, this time not so much.
Usually very very very happy with Sumup and I am sure will continue to be. In this specific instance I felt I was receiving automated replies, and no-one was really reading my messages with questions and explanations. I kept getting a request for proof of residence with specific documents, regardless of documentation I provided. Eventually I sent a copy of passport (which does NOT show residence) and that was cheerfully accepted.

Great customer service
The team at SumUp replied to my message within minutes and helped me to resolve my issue. Just needed to change my destination bank account and couldn’t remember if I had done so already. They sorted me out very quickly. Really impressed. Thanks team SumUp.

Flawed device and bad service.
Most of the time the 3G reader would not connect to the network. The first one and the second one to replace one that just "died" on me. Customer service is appalling. Taking months to sort out my refund. How convenient for them!

We've been up and running a month
We've been up and running a month. Sadly 2 sumup air machines have died on us in that time. Quick response as to getting a new card machine send out in 2 days.but losing the card payments on our busiest days twice is frustrating. Seems to be if the machine is touched or tapped slightly it breaks. Surely they should be more hard wearing than that? The three stars are for the quick response from customer services, if it breaks again I think we'll have no choice but to use a competitor
