Excellent Service, ideal for contactless trading.
I’ve needed to contact SumUp once or twice in the 4 years I’ve used the service and found them to be excellent. An under warranty replacement was with me next day, and the new service brought out very early into the Covid-19 pandemic has allowed me to take remote payments throughout. My customers find this feature especially useful.

To temperamental
Sometimes it takes so long to connect, and sometimes it won't connect, no good when customers are waiting... The diagnostics given don't work...

The card machine is good
The card machine is good, but they are awful, everytime you want to change something like your name or your address they asking you for documents that are not really any of their business, like your home contract, your bills, etc. I find it quite annoying

I’m on offer for £500 free service charge but they start charging me just under £250 I contacted them and they promise me will start again £500 free service charge so far good response

Brilliant company
Brilliant card machine. I’ve used it since start of business five years ago and have never had a problem. Easy to use and very good, prompt service if you ever have a query. I’d highly recommend.

Reducing transaction costs
After a quick chat with SumUp support our transaction charges were reduced from 2.75% to 1,90%. Just a little disappointed that this was not fixed automatically and only after we sent in a request. But; it didn't stop us purchasing another card reader. Really popular in our canteen.
