The card readers are an affordable secure worry free solution
The card readers are an affordable solution. The best things are no monthly fee making a £5.00 minimum spend no longer required, charges so low that you don't even think about it and the exiting features built into the software. It is so easy to email a receipt to the customer. During the transaction the software prompts you with an option to send a digital receipt or not.

Smart payment method
I needed some smart payment method for local sales. As Im always on the go, I wanted something minimal. It has all options I need so far - and I can have free debit card to pay out cash if needed.

Block Air reader for no reason. Terrible service.
I've been using SumUp for 3 years and the system works well. Last week took out my 15 month old Air reader to find that it had been blocked for "tampering". At the time at which this apparently occurred, the reader was in my drawer. I'm told that the blocked reader is useless and cannot be used again. This is awful customer service and terrible for the planet. SumUp won't even take back blocked units for reuse/recycle.

I have found the sumup air effective
I have found the sumup air to be very effective. I did have a problem but it was my fault and eventually it was cured. I would recommend this device to others.

A new Solo reader had a lockup problem. SumUp Support were very quick to respond to my message, with dispatch of a replacement promised.
