new faulty Solo, help & refund not straightforward
My new Solo reader never worked - would not pick up enough wifi signal even when parked right next to the router, then got stuck on trying to update, it got hot and quickly ran out of battery. I then discovered that asking for help wasn't easy, and returning the reader for a refund is also not straightforward - everything has to be done by emailing the support team and the answers are mostly generic. Absolutely awful customer service
Absolutely awful customer service. My first contact to find out why we could'nt take payment was at 09.30am on the 22nd April. Drip fed questions to verify our account after reaching £5k. Second day without being able to take card payments even though yesterday I was promised once they had the infomation they asked me for by email it would take 20 mins to verify. Waited & waited called so many times and nothing. The agents all say the same thing as if they are reading from a script. This ...

DO NOT TRUST THEM
The reader itself is easy to use. I’ve been using it for a few months and no issues. I’ve the Easter holiday they withheld a transaction. I cannot get through to customer services AT ALL. Tried the live chat, email and phine and nothing. No answer. So upset. I won’t be using them again. I can’t risk losing more money? Really bad
