As a SumUp novice l have been very impressed with the service. My query was answered really quickly.

Absolutely superb

Absolutely superb. Set ot timescales in which things will be done.

Just terrible

Just terrible! Without any notice or warning, they have blocked us out of our account “Pending review” we have lost out on a two days worth of trade and they have also stopped our payouts. I don’t think we would be so angry if they had given us clear warning or someone would give us clear communication or even contact us. We have called over 20 times in the past two days to be told the same thing, someone will contact us from security. No call comes We have decided to order new card ...

BANK OF TOY TOWN…

Was charged £11 for a pound land charger not a good start Went to business account for next day payment and card stopped working So to transfer cash out takes up to 3 business days a normal bank unlike SumUp Bank of Toy Town takes 15 mins Customer service is a joke Sam the Bot like Sumup is useless Avoid at all costs

SumUp is the best

I’ve been using SumUp for the last 2 years and I am extremely happy with them. They charge minimum per cent per transaction. You get the money next day. I never had problems with the card reader. The reader itself is very light and neatly shaped, the battery lasts for long periods of time.Great service. I will definitely recommend SumUp to everyone that needs to take card and cash payment in any sort of setting. If you have any problems- their customer service team will resolve it for 24 ...

Waste of time and money

Update on below. Finally, after months of trying, SumUp got in touch and sent a replacement machine really quickly. Marty was very good. We will keep using SumUp for our low volume transactions. We run a not for profit bar and so have high volumes of low value transactions - so SumUp seemed a logical choice with no individual transaction fee. The initial machine was OK - not quick, but OK and we were saving on fees so I bought the till receipt machine for £150. It has been useless since. ...

Raging now…..

Their customer service is almost non existant. If you try to chat you get a chat bot, ask to speak to a person and it says it will transfer you…..it doesn’t happen. Try phoning and you are left hanging on for an inordinate amount of time! “ your call will be answered in 3 minutes” …….”your call will be answered in 5” …..your call will be answered in 5…..after holding for 20! Then a message says press 1 and you can leave your name and number and get a call back……press 1? Nothing ...
