Forced to switch over from my old Debitoor account to Sum Up and closed my account within hours of the switch over. Sum Up are useless and the customer support or 'chat window' is more useless than a knitted condom!!

I feel totally ripped off - AVOID.

Card reader stopped working 38 days after I received it and they told me there's only a one month warranty and I need to throw this one away and buy another one. It was always kept in a protected pouch in a Samsonite padded bag and when I said it cant be damaged I was told it was because I hadn't used it enough. I used it 5 times in 1 month..... Just a total scam

I have been trying for over a week to get my profile set up. I sent them a copy of my passport last Thursday and I’ve been fobbed by very helpful but powerless customer service agents. I am now in the helpless position of needing a card reader at a venue tomorrow with no working card reader available. Broke data protection laws and damaged my reputation

I opened a sumup account to receive a payment from my first client. As this was a new venture sumup carried out checks and this included contacting the client who paid to confirm the legitimacy of the transaction. For reasons I can only speculate on, sumup refused my account but instead of emailing me, they EMAILED THE CLIENT BY MISTAKE! The email (addressed to me but sent to the client) said I had been refused an account for life and that there were no grounds to appeal. Not only was this ...

I am very impressed with sumUp overall

I am very impressed with sumUp overall. I recommend them to my fellow entrepreneurs who love it also. I am also impressed with how fast customer service responded and updated my bank account for me during a holiday weekend. Much more efficient and cost effective than other services.

58 minutes hanging on and still no answer

Trying to start back operating this weekend and trying to reset password no emails sent to assist reset waited 58 minutes to speak to someone to assist office then closed extremely frustrating no one to talk you through. Desperate now may not open if can't get it up and running.

Missing £106 in transaction money V payout

Update, A pay out is showing for £105 minus their fee on 4/8/22 just waiting to see if it goes in to my account, but progress perhaps. UPDATE Ok so new terminal was delivered which was not a reconditioned model and the box had a plug this time round. Great....... until it is used for the first time. Transactions were taken and confirmed during every transaction and the total value was clearly displayed on the sumup app, as per many other reviews the pay out didn't match the transactions ...
