Unethical merchant using Sumup.

I contacted Sumup support by email over a week ago but as yet have had no reply. The issue is that a merchant in Spain is using the sumup platform to take security deposits from tourists and never returns the money. I have sent the details. Sumup should take some action to stop this scam on its platform.

Chat service is a waste of time

Chat service is a waste of time. Long queue to be allowed to pose question (times out in 7 mins if you don't spot you have reached the top) then no acknowledgment that they have read your question. I checked - they had seen it: sorry for delay. Then booted out of chat (without having received an answer) because it had taken too long. Absolute Rubbish. Avoid if you can (but are competitors any better?)

Do yourself a favour and don't loose business customers by signing up with Sum up . Just lost a customer due to waiting on dodgy reader

Dire customer service

Dire customer service. Was going to change over to them from Square because I thought their customer service was bad. Compared to SumUp Square's is excellent. SumUp Have since replied asking for more details. The problems I had were: The actual card machine did not turn up as expected, when trying to contact them regarding this. I was kept on the phone being told you call will be answered in approx 5 mins. 35 minutes later being told they were too busy to answer my call and was cut off. ...

I am delighted with my new Sum up card…

I am delighted with my new Sum up card machine it is so slick . I have used it recently in a car park at Springbank Malt Festival and in the Town Hall at a craft fair where I have had stalls.

EXTREMELY POOR support at SumUp!

EXTREMELY POOR support at Debitoor NOW SumUp! Support at Debitoor (NOW is becoming SumUp) is EXTREMELY poor and very very slow. But hey you get what you pay for right? I am a consumer. My merchant is based in France and uses SumUp to process his invoices. I am based in the UK. I downloaded the consumer app on the invoice. Verified the app. Transferred £11,000 into SumUp and have been trying to pay the merchant for over a week. It doesn't pay from the balance. I opened the virtual card. It doesn't pay from the card.
