Sumup is very convenient and affordable way for small business to accept card payment,no monthly fees,pay as you earn. I have been with them for the past 8 years,very good experience.recommend to everyone.

money stolen from my account
I wouldn’t recommend anyone to use them as I had money stolen from my account 2 weeks ago , the total balance transferred to a stranger account without my approval and they are ignoring my emails and phone calls !! Shocking costumer service !! thanks you for getting back to me . the problem here that’s I have received a call from the company landline in London 02035 100160 and they had all my details !!! I did not have to give them anything . the problem here I’m afraid it from the company ...

I’m new to card readers and SumUp. My reader arrived in super quick time. I’ve been guided through set up at every stage and my questions were answered promptly, with clear instructions. A very impressive service all round.

Purchased a Sum Up 3G + Wifi Card…
Purchased a Sum Up 3G + Wifi Card Reader Payment Kit. Worked really well, easy to use, unfortunately the machine would not recharge. I contacted Sum Up who replaced it with no quibble - and arranged collection of the faulty machine. Excellent service - staff were so polite and apologetic, not often you receive this treatment from companies. Top marks would definitely recommend this company.

Yes fraud is rife within this company…
Yes fraud is rife within this company my account had £700 taken out of my account. Two minutes later it went back in so i thought nothing of it. A few minutes later two seperate amounts of £300 and £400 went out to two different people. I have only ever drawn money out to my own account so this should have flagged up. Absolutely disgusting
Absolutely disgusting, sold us machine, then said sorry can't give you account & cant refund as it was over 4wks, in which time i was trying to get account sorted, I own a high street shop, got 2 websites, I seen people at carboot sales with sumup machine, high st shop its a problem. Went with zettle in the end 1000% better company to deal with.

Just doesn't work!
1) Impossible to add certain cards to an account to pay payment requests 2) Unable to make payments on the cards it does accept despite following the security pop-ups 3) Customer service idiotic, and don't listen to the specific queries that are raised 4) Unable to use the functionality within the app to contact them TLDR: WASTE OF TIME!

Poor Service
I bought a card reader terminal from them but it did not support telephone card payments. They agreed that I may return it for a full refund. Over three months later, there is still no refund and I am ignored by their customer services. I have now asked my credit card provider to dispute the payment. Sum Up have been useless.
