Several weeks ago I reviewed #Sumup…
Several weeks ago I reviewed #Sumup after my Sumup account was plundered of £4730,58 . To date no constructive contact with Sumup except a weasel words apology and requesting the details. Sumup have really cornered the market in crap customer service. If you have an issue with them the only form of communication is bots ?!emails and holding on a phone line until someone cuts you off . However I've discovered that I'm just one of many being screwed by sumup .I ain't finished with them yet

Do not trust this machine
Do not trust this card reader 100%. My sumup card reader didn't connect with phone to receive a payment. My customer has no cash in hand. Finally I told to my customer, you can go without payment and I lost my payment. I don't trust Sumup Card reader 100% anymore because I started loosing receive payment. I am paying about 1.69% of transaction fee to them for the service and I am loosing receiving payment form customers. I was using izettle and i nerve had this kind of trouble. I am going ...

Was convinced to switch over to their…
Was convinced to switch over to their system by a sales rep but have been really disappointed with the entire system, it doesn’t do what they said it would do & continues to cause headaches daily. Main complaint is that they said you could give the customer an option to add a tip and a big reason for us moving over, but this isn’t true. You’d be better off using another reader with the good til app, that’s fairly useful but I certainly wouldn’t recommend sum up currently. I have reached out ...

Constantly gets payouts wrong
Constantly gets payouts wrong, zero communication using their chat or message service. We are in the process of taking them to Court. DO NOT BUY A SUMUP READER.

Thumbs Up for SumUp
So far, using the SumUp app has been a breeze - and I'm a complete technophobe. Any problems I have had have been quickly sorted by the support team. It's refreshing to find a customer support team that really does help and support the customer! Great price for a start-up package - it was recommenced to me by sellers, friends, and taxi drivers... and I'll be more than happy to recommend SumUp for small business and sellers too :)

I ordered my card almost a month to the day, and within a week it still hadn't arrived. Over a week ago I ordered another replacement and... I came from iZettle, thinking this would be better. Not a good start Still hasn't arrived.
