Exceptional service!
We were asked to use Sumup/goodtill by an event organiser who wanted all traders to have the same system. Initially, we were very reserved about this as we are extremely happy with our existing POS/payment system. But Ben B. And the support team have been exceptionally helpful and supportive in helping us on-board quickly and get used to the system in no time.

SUMUP Woocommerce plugin ERRORS!
My website uses sumup for online payments. Last week, after a software update to the sumup plugin for woocommerce, issues have arisen and the sumup system no longer reports the order number with each payment - making reconciliation and checking payment VERY difficult and timeconsuming. Terrible hardware terrible customer service
My sumup air broke at the start of Dec. I was sent another one promptly which didn’t work either so without any technical assistance the advisor sent me another which I have just received another after 15 days the 29th Dec. I explained the chaos this has caused me in December the check out should be a smooth process at a point where I ask clients for a google review! Most dreadful customer service
This company has the most dreadful customer support I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. You cannot get a responce from the chat line unless you are prepared to wait for 26 people in front of you to be dealt with on line or the phone. Send an email which they don't read through and send a responce a week later if you are lucky which doesn't answer your query.

Card reader never arrived
I ordered a card terminal that never arrived. I contacted Sumup and was told a refund would take 6 weeks and I would need to return the terminal, which I never received! They do not respond to emails, very poor company, I have gone with Square, so much better and very happy I did

Poor support
Sumup Solo machine went faulty overnight for no reason (it was shutdown in its dock in a closed shop!) Turned machine on today and it tells me that the reader is faulty and to contact customer support who will replace it. Customer support were no help, wanting proof of purchase etc. I was really expecting a no quibble swap to quickly get me taking payments again - but was told that the device was not associated with my account (despite having been taking payments on it for ages!) Endless excuses but machine never…
Endless excuses but machine never worked. Lost us hundreds of pounds of sales, never sent a replacement, impossible to contact and disaster from start to finish. Screwed up several sale days for us. Whatever Sumup have written below about a £5k limit is complete rubbish!! I tried to sell a few mugs and have never spoken to anyone as they don't have a helpline.
