I was happy with SumUp and then had issues with the invoice feature on the mobile app. I invoiced a customer in the US for £130 and it was shown as paid. This did not show up on the main transaction area of my online account and I never received the funds from SumUp. I was cautious as I'd never used anything like sumup. But it is easy to set up and use. They are contactable if you have an issue.

Every transaction is at risk!!!

I keep having problems with payment reversals. I do the negative review, magically they give me my money back and cancel the transaction. I have a scooter rental, customer does me damage, pays directly on pos samup and when he gets home he cancels the payment. I provide documentation and exchange emails in which the customer confesses to the damage and accepts the payment. Subsequently Sumup sends me an email saying that the people in charge of the decision agreed with the customer, causing ...

But having done one test transaction of £1 using my own card and a real transaction of £6 for one of my clients, their security team put a restriction on my account, asked a ton of questions and document submissions which I replied again and again.
