Great for small businesses
Great for small businesses. I bought my new Sum-Up machine from a well-known online auction site as it was cheaper than buying direct. It took less than 30 minutes to set up and do a practise transaction. The debit card that comes with it is rather useful too and took a few minutes to activate. The battery life is unbelievable. Easy to use trouble free money…
Easy to use trouble free money transaction for small business use....not had any problems with my sumup unit in nearly two years now...Would recommend this method of taking cash free transactions....

After the purchase of the sumup 3g card…
After the purchase of the sumup 3g card reader and printer, I made an online account with Sumup. However, it is almost impossible to actually complete the profile, its stopped at verifying identity. This should take a couple of days but its been a week. Support is useless and cannot do anything even though they are supposed to complete it. Still happy after a decade of use
As a sole trader Ive used SumUp for over a decade. With NO RENTAL fee to drain the bank balance as a new start up and reasonable fees I couldnt be happier with the ability to take ALL cards at my clinic. I even have the original chip and pin and it works just fine. Easilly access your transactions for your bookeeping.

Machines shut down on their own
Machines shut down on their own. Loose signal and fight them selfs on the WiFi & network slowing the whole process down. Battery are shockingly bad and don’t last the day. Payment is bad. Work on a Saturday and you won’t get paid till Monday late pm. If it’s a bank holiday it’s late Tuesday.
