They cancelled my account for no reason
I was happily using this service but for no given reason that I can understand they have withdrawn their service for me! I have money in the account that I need to jump through hoops to get!!(it’s my money!!) I contacted chat and was just sent links to read without any explanation as to why they are asking me to send the card reader back. I’m soooo not happy!

Not happy
I cannot understand why the Solo product is not supplied with a cable that fits into a standard USB socket so it can be charged up. Why not have a cable just like you get with a mobile phone? I've asked about this and they tell me I need to buy something else and suggested a laptop.

Has a business account now
It's actually my second time using them for my coaching business. The card device I used for taking the odd card payment for in person workshops a few years was fine. After Covid I never went back to taking physical card payments and forgot about SumUp until I recently got fed up with my Bank (rhymes with Fat Chest :-) charging extra for almost everything. Went online and was surprised to find SumUp has a free bank account without extra charges. Didn't even have to go through all the signup ...

Abysmal customer service/support
Abysmal customer service/support. Every few transactions we keep getting a "server error" message (which never used to happen until it started regularly three weeks ago). Got through to an agent on the chat box, who asked me if I'm trying to do transactions via the app, or via the desktop dashboard...
