Very awful/incompetent company

Very awful company, you will never get through to some one who can actually deal with your issues. They take your money for their devices don't send them out and then no one can assist you on the phone, they then close your account for reasons that do not make any legal sense and when requesting a call back to discuss even after providing documentation which they never acknowledge they leave your business stuck for days on end. My advice safe yourself the headache go somewhere else..

Total incompetence

Total incompetence. Support is useless on the phone. They ask to email support which doesn’t reply for days and then when they reply is standard scripted responses. Not worth transacting with them when they can withhold money without giving you opportunity to explain and resolve issue properly.

AVOID AT ALL COST

AVOID AT ALL COST! I'd been using their card reader successfully for over 1.5 years until suddenly I got an email from them saying that they processed my refund request and I should send my card reader back. After seeking some clarification it turned out that they weren't able to provide their services to me anymore due to the nature of my business (used vehicle sales). It didn't stop them to do that for a year and a half, but hey , no big deal as there are other providers out there. ...

Situation resolved satisfactorily

I have been a SumUp user for almost 3 years and last used my SumUp Solo terminal in Dec. In preparation for an event this week I thought it prudent to take out my terminal to check for software updates and to charge it. On connecting it to power a message appeared on my screen saying “Please contact our customer support team. We will send you a BRAND NEW SOLO” I contacted them only to be told that as my terminal was out of warranty that I would have to purchase a new one. A SumUp ...

Absolutely shocking company,

Absolutely shocking company, Card reader arrived, only to be locked, told they would send a replacement, everytime we ring, email or online chat we are told a different tale each time. Haven't even got up and running, so safe to say reader will be returned and we will not be using this company. I would avoid at all costs, shocking customer service

Pure scam

I own a UK LTD and at the time I decided to use Sumup I was living in between Spain and France. Without paying much attention to which website version I was browsing on; I bought the card reader and opened the account. After a few operations even I could see that the account was taking way long to validate, I just knew - in a badass manner by some vulgaire French- that it would be closed down because I was not in the right country market, and many other etcetera’s. At the time I simply ...

Terrible experience worst in 27 years…

Terrible experience worst in 27 years with a card machine. It's not working correctly and they have also decided a direct payment from one account to sum up is no long a direct payment after 6 six of making direct payments. And they don't know what is going on or where my money is avoid at all costs will only cost you money in the long run .

Too bad for business owner

Too bad for business owner. The customer can easly charge back and refund his mony, and the Sumup charge as well for the charge back 🙄 I have sent all information and proof of call from customer to support team then they didn't do anything about it, I have loost in total £280.
