Brilliant bit of kit
Brilliant bit of kit! Had for a year now and it’s never left me down. I know you have to pay fees, but for the increase in impulse sales it’s definitely worth it..

Got paid into this account £620 from a job I done for a company. This was on Friday and it's not Monday and no reply and no time frame. Money is being held. Will change this review if it's fixed in next few days but for now I have had a very bad experience with this company as that money was needed, I'm only a small company.

Very poor customer service
Very poor customer service. I have two Solo readers both unfortunately out of warranty and both are locked to what they state as ‘misuse, dropped, knocked’ etc which is not the case. They refuse point blank to offer any solution other than to buy new ones at £99.00 each (purchase price). Not a company with good customer service and empathy. Interesting response and exactly what I expected ‘not our problem our products time expire’ or you have damaged them or exposed them to heat. Do you ...

We are a small branch of a large…
We are a small branch of a large organisation and purchased 45 units and went through the set up. All was going well until we hit the £5,000 transaction mark. SumUp suspended our account and asked for further information on our company for financial regs purposes. They then informed us that we cannot trade with them because we come under a charitable trust. No where can I find nor did they clarify this before purchasing the units or setting up the account. Check eligibility first. Not easy ...

Further review, awful experience, please avoid
As you can see from my previous review, I was told someone would contact me, they didn't. Therefore I contacted them (several times) again. Today I was told they agree they have received my return on the 10th May however the refund still had not been initiated by the return team, now 7th June. Therefore I informed them I will be turning to the ombudsman and wanted to speak with a manager. This time I was told they couldn't refer me on chat but could give me a phone number (although before I ...

Genuinely wish I'd never bothered
Genuinely wish I'd never bothered. I had an account at the end of 2022, I never used it. I asked to close as I didn't want to leave it open (as I also had the bank account) I was told it was closed and that if I wanted it again to log back in as my information would still be there so I could reuse if I did events again. Come June 2023, I now needed a card reader. Went to buy one, kept on telling me to log in with said account. I did and purchased card reader. Went to update bank details in ...
