Essential business service
Sumup is as convenient as it gets. I don't know why there are negative reviews, I've never had a single issue in the several years I've been with them, I can only assume some people simply don't know what they are doing!

SumUp is a great money-maker for our small business. Our takings have doubled now that we can take card payments. The fees are only so small that we don't even notice them with all the extra sales. Highly Recommend.

A really useful tool for a mobile…
A really useful tool for a mobile business when cash isn't available or being carried by the customer. Easy to set up with very little cost. A very competative charge and useful business tools with full back up. On the down side. The hand held display is difficult to read when being used outside in a market situation particularly on a bright day and the 3g isn't always the best signal.

Best decision to use Sumup.
Will never regret having Sumup. We are a small not for profit community group who were missing out at our fundraising events because some people just do not carry cash. Sumup has stopped all that. A reliable tool, has never failed & the excuse of 'I don't carry cash' doesn't work anymore.

Update... you also decide to let me know publicly on here that you have cancelled my account but for a week you been saying just get a passport....very professional lol i leave a bad review and you cancel my account and id alteady said id never use you again. Please every one if your thinking about using this company then dont. Do not use, after 5 years they have stopped me using card machine with no notice. They blocked my account for no reason and keep my money 700£, I already put a complaint in the London Court for stole my money, the customer service isn’t exist, so I’m waiting for the UK Justice. Merchant ID: MCYAAVR9 Answer for SumUp: Sorry but your representatives haven’t contacted me to assist me to receive any outstanding funds, they only tell me that my money will be in hold for 2 months… so I already put a complaint against you for keep my money illegally, regards.

Zero Support on a product that works intermittently at best
I just bought and used 36 Sumup Solos for a festival and had endless issues, outages, and when the machines completely stopped working festival-wide, there is no way to contact them. Even the chatbot (always a bad sign in itself that they can't even be bothered to staff a live chat) said "sorry it looks like you need to speak to a person" and then, just like the sumup devices themselves, stopped working.
