I have asked SumUp to cancel my account, in writing three times now. They keep saying they have not heard from me and have done nothing about it. A joke for customer service!! God knows if they will ever actually delete my account!!

I have not had my case resolved.

The person who I communicated with was excellent. They really tried to find a solution to the issue...this included them contacting other staff to provide further information and this took up a lot of their time. So the support service was excellent. Unfortunately they could not solve the problem (hence the 4 stars rather than 5...it would be 5 stars for the customer support staff, but only 3 for the functionality of the SumUp website). They were unable to answer my questions and referred me to an e-mail that I received and that has not been resolved either. When you look at the website to get the machine it not explained that you will need a business bank account and also that this needs to be to be verified with invoices and proof of business address. This is particularly difficult when first starting up something that was just a trial to see how I got on. Now there is money sat in the account which I have been unable to ...

Uncooperative telephone advisor

Uncooperative telephone advisor. Refused to accept my complaint. Told me I had to email my complaint. Gave me an email address which doesn’t exist. Refused to pass me over to a supervisor. Was actually as much use as a chocolate tea pot. Not actually sure now whether it was worth phoning for help. Utterly useless. I will NOT be recommending Sumup to other people and I WILL be looking at an alternative method of clearing my card payments. Awful level of customer service. I have given a 1 ...
