I tried to talk to 2 different people…
I tried to talk to 2 different people about changing my personal details and neither could help me, when I told them that I couldn't do it online because I don't have the old number to receive a code they just kept saying yes you can!!! Trust me I couldn't do it as it wouldn't give me another option to send the code to

A mixed experience
The first person I spoke to was very helpful and eager to sort out the problem. However, I was put on hold twice as she went to find some answers. I cut the call short as I had run out of time. This was mid morning. I tried again later on in the afternoon. I spoke to 3 different people in 3 phone calls. 2 talked very quickly and were difficult to understand. Communication with sumup is very uniform and not bespoke to a customer’s individual needs. A lot of message replies are just from a template rather than being personalised to what you are querying. For example, I have emailed them regarding a cash advance and explaining why I needed it and rather than getting any support and understanding for my situation, I just received a blunt email stating that the system cannot be overridden and the cash advances only get offered in batches.
