You will need the patience of a saint for this company
I have been using zettle for the past 10years. I was recently advised that sumup may be a better option as their fees are lower and also that you can get your payments in 1 day even at weekend, where as zettle take 3 days for deposits. This is the only reason I am sticking it out with sum up but I am struggling with my decision. Sum up is fine any issue as a merchant technical support in Berlin is slow and unhelpful Sending an E mail that you apologise is not good enough ,obviously there is a staff issue . Also staff in Berlin do not sometimes understand the cultural differences between the English and the Irish When you are ringing from Dublin

DONT FALL INTO THE TRAP
We opened a sumup account recently for a registered company in the UK. Without explanation Sumup decided to withhold £15k from us, and to permanantly close our profile. The support team was useless in providing an explanation, other than to cite some unknown security issue. We have no idea where our money is an when or if it will be released....

Zero customer support
I was potentially a new client for Sumup and was ready to sign up, but I didn't receive any replies to my emails regarding a question I had. I messaged them three times over a month. I now see from other reviews that their customer support is apparently terrible. So I'm grateful in a way that I found this out before becoming a customer.
