Flexible Log Analytics Power Tool

What do you like best? Time to market: - Because Sumologic is a SAAS product, I don't need to run an ELK stack or manage any logging / storage infrastructure. - Because Sumologic is a supported product, I have full access to a team of engineers who wrote the software and to customer success engineers to help leverage the all the features and debug mistakes - Because Sumologic stores the raw logs, I can always refine and clean up the data in ad-hoc queries over historical data ...

Love the quer

What do you like best? I've found the query language pleasant to use and fairly powerful. Being able to save queries into dashboards, and get periodic email alerts is also really useful. What do you dislike? Complex queries (like joins) are very slow. Learning curve is a little steep for query language, hard to find documentation for how to do something new. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Having a central location for logs from ...

Great software to parse logs and perform data analysis

What do you like best? SumoLogic is very powerful when you need it to be but also quite easy to get going with. What do you dislike? Some of the error messages aren't clear as to what is actually wrong with your query so at times you have to play around with the query. SumoLogic support is awesome though. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Parsing logs and making sense data flowing in.
