My 3-year experience with Storyblocks (Video, Audio and Images)

My experience with Storyblocks (Video, Audio and images) for the past three years has been nothing but good :) I've used their material in countless projects and my customers keep getting amazed at what sort of content I'm able to finish my products off with. I'm a webdesiger and the importance of making an effect to my customer's future customers is key. There is a lovely. selection of generic clips but more diversity is needed.

There are a lovely selection of clips for very popular/iconic locations, but coverage of many foreign places are missing altogether. The clips of people doing various things are limited in race, gender age and body type. I would like to see more diversity in the casts, the lack of this diversity has kept me from using clips that otherwise would be useful.

The best thing about Storyblocks Audio is that the Music/SOunds are completely Royalty Free and there is no issue of Copyrights etc

Great selection. Expert Edits.

I only use the audio portion of Storyblocks since I shoot my own video and take my own photos. I researched audio providers for three years before subscribing to Storyblocks. I have been incredibly happy with the huge selection across genres that are expertly edited. I do wish there were more voice only clips, but that's about it.

I love Storyblocks

I love Storyblocks! The one time my Youtube channel got flagged for copyright with one of their soundtracks, they resolved it immediately. They're the best!

Refused to refund my subscription even though I contacted them the same day and haven’t used the account for several months. Be careful of this company.

Dishonest company

I subscribed to this service in 2017 for $49. I didn't really use it enough but intermittently. So when the next renewal came I accepted it at $149. A few months later I tried to cancel my subscription on audioblocks and thought I did. They were transitioning from audioblocks to storyblocks at that time and maybe my cancellation was lost in the transition. I'm extremely happy with my subscription to Videoblocks. I don't write reviews often but felt the need to here because the quality and quantity of media at this site is worth every penny of my subscription. As a motion designer and videographer it saves me a lot of time, energy and money, which I value in that order :) I find it can be tough on other sites to locate, afford or navigate for the kind of content I'm searching for.
