I was very surprised to get such a good tech support from Storyblocks. The issue turned out to be a mystery or possibly on my end but Franco was very thorough in his detective work.

Scammiest sales ever

We all know how a subscription service should work: you pay for a subscription, you get a service. There are upsells, that you may decide to buy or not. Not with Storyblocks. I bought a personal license, because I wanted stock video for a personal project. However, I committed the cardinal sin of not answering their upsell emails. sneaky auto renew, scam site!

This is crap, auto renews with no notice what's so ever, very sneaky way to do it. tried to cancel 4 times, oh look error error error. messaging on the site keeps saying we will be back in 30 mins for well over 2 hours... what is this scummy way of making money? sure others probably do it, but does't make it good. after they go on about mental health, covid etc, people are struggling especially financially. But story block just goes for the easy sneaky $$$$$. seen many a similar post, ...

I have always loved Storyblocks when it comes to making films. But I now appreciate their personal service too. After running into a little problem with my subscription, Franco helped me out and resolved my problem extremely quickly and kindly. Thank you Franco and thank you Story Blocks! 🙂
