Is StageWave right for you?

What buyers should know before shortlisting StageWave

StageWave has completely changed how I monitor my sound on stage. Instead of spending hundreds on wireless IEM packs, I just plug my in-ears into my phone and get a clean, stereo mix instantly.

The app is easy to use, and I love being able to tweak my levels in real-time. Setup with the QR code is fast, and we can all get personalized mixes without any hassle.

I did notice a bit of latency while playing drums, and you need a good router setup, but for our band’s budget and needs, StageWave has been a game-changer. Highly recommended!

Why buyers keep looking beyond StageWave

  • Wi-Fi latency averages 20-30ms, creating 50ms+ delays for drummers or musicians needing sub-10ms response times

  • Requires MU-MIMO routers, gigabit Ethernet, and PCs with 7th gen i5+, 8GB RAM, and ASIO support to handle 8+ devices

  • Audio dropouts and glitches occur frequently in dense Wi-Fi environments, with some users reporting 15-20% packet loss

  • Android devices show 10ms higher latency than iOS and experience app crashes in 5-10% of sessions

  • Delivers wired-equivalent mobility compared to RF IEMs, restricting stage movement for touring acts

  • Demands router configuration, audio routing setup, and system synchronization—unsuitable for users wanting plug-and-play operation
