Misleading advertising

Misleading advertising. Tells you the service is free and shows there is a free plan with just fewer services. But after going through screen after screen of marketing hype it seems you have to add your credit card and only get a three day trial to join. Very misleading marketing and unnecessary time-wasting.

Great Customer Service!

I am not reviewing the product, I didn't use it. However, someone stole my bank card and was using it to pay for the service. I had to cancel my card and go through the hassle of updating all my online accounts etc. I was definitely angry to find $300 taken from my account. When I contacted Speechify I was not my most polite self (not proud of that!) But I was contacted by Maria, she was very helpful, and within a short time she discovered the issue and took care of getting me a refund for ...

A super product with excellent customer support

Speechify is a game changer for me, allowing me to get through long articles that I need to read, but would drift off to sleep reading otherwise. It's excellent. Their customer support is great too. I recently dealt with Maria, who provided prompt responses and resolved a payment issue I had superbly. Top marks all round!

This review is specifically for my experience with the customer service representative Rizzalyn. They were extremely helpful with getting my refund after a free trial. I thought it had cancelled but was notified of a charge and couldn’t afford it due to current life circumstances. They were able to help me get the refund approved and were extremely kind throughout our conversation.

They refunded me immediately and were polite with no issues. I very much appreciate this level of customer service. Although Speechify is not something I can use right now I certainly will remember their customer service and feel more willing to try it again knowing I will be well taken care of.
