Great tool for work

What do you like best? I like the ability to stay up to date on internal conversations by subscribing to different channels. It keeps me in the know in real time, instead of waiting for a meeting to get updates. On a related note, it also declutters my email inbox, and makes meetings less about updates and more about being productive with our team's time. Our paper had no communication channel prior to Slack -- we exchanged phone numbers and emails, and it was horribly inefficient (some of us had group text, some didn't, not everybody was actively checking their phone throughout the day.
