Wonderful Tool

What do you like best? I like the fact that Slack not only allows you to share documents via the internet but also that you can communicate with people directly through the website or Slack’s mobile application - which works on all devices (Apple, Android. Another Slack feature that is a main reason I use this at work is the fact that you can use channels to share documents with only those people who subscribe to the specific channels. This means that only those people who need to see a ...

Slack - great tool for quick communications at work

What do you like best? I like that you are able to create different channels. When working on projects, we can create new slack channels that will house all conversation about that project and is an easier reference point than an Outlook folder or a OneNote. What do you dislike? I dislike the max capacity of the messages and I think it would be beneficial if Slack added an archive option. Rather than automatically deleting messages once the maximum is realized, it should notify you and ...

Craft and Collaboration across our Global Creative Agency

What do you like best? Slack transformed our communications both creatively and cross-functionally. From day one, Slack yanked our team out of an exhaustive round robin of email and into a dynamic digital depot filled with clear channels of communication and virtual conversation. What do you dislike? I would be making up a dislike, but in the spirit of reviews -- it would be helpful if the Google Doc notifications came in through the individual Slack channels (versus aggregated into a ...

Useful tool for team-work

What do you like best? Slack is a very useful tool if you work with a small team of people who work on the same projects and you need to coordinate yourselves. You can create different groups of people or different topics with the same team. It's a great way to be very organised. I also like that you can attach any kind of document there, such as pdf or .pages. What do you dislike? The truth is I like almost everything about Slack. I think it's a very useful platform for teams. I have ...

Great Features! Great Experience!

What do you like best? The best part about slack is that it allows you to add additional features and emojis to your workplace allowing for customized experience within slack. The addition of custom addins that slack provides allows us to easily integrate other products we use into slack and ease communication for the team. Slack also allows you to have custom emojis which are greatly appreciated as it allows jokes and commentary to be tailored towards the company more. What do you ...

The Best Cloud-based communication Tool

What do you like best? The fact that it's easy to use, It's also user friendly for first timers. Share your Files and make a new channel for your needs. Good one and works best as per your needs and requirements.

What do you like best? The best thing about this is the dashboard which is clean and really good if you are just a startup. You can handle your team and ofcourse your customers will never feel like being ignored. So slack is best if you know what are things you could do. I forgot to tell that the support team is as dedicated as they look. So go ahead with all your requirements and you will get fulfilled. What do you dislike? Nothing is there to be disliked so just a positive response ...

Great for Collaboration

What do you like best? Slack combines a extremely user-friendly messaging interface with effective collaboration amongst the team. It is easy to create new private/public channels for different initiatives at the company. Due to the size of the place I work at, it is hard to get everyone together in one room. Slack enables us to get rid of emails and provide us with real-time feedback from all around the company. What do you dislike? Although it is for organizational sake, we have admins ...

OK for smaller organizations, might be a disaster for larger organizations

What do you like best? At its best, I liked how easy it was to talk to members not immediately accessible. It was quick, relatively intuitive, and had some fun features, like GIF integration. What do you dislike? At my smallest and largest organization, it was meant to be a tool to make communication easier. However, when I was working in a team of <20, it proved unnecessary since you could literally ask someone down the hall, which would be quicker than waiting for them to respond to ...

Was lost before slack

What do you like best? It easy to use and open to all. The free package is perfect for statups and the paid packages for bigger companies. Slack is not just easy to use but also scales with your needs. The ability to have web, mobile and desktop apps is perfect. Have been using slack for 3 year now with no issues. What do you dislike? I would like to see a user role system that us Dynamic to allow differnt people access to different channels. There voice chat functionailty is not as good ...
