Widespread but inconvenient
What do you like best? I like how you can log onto a particular slack channel with just a link. So if you are trying to get other members to join the slack channel, you can just forward them a single link- that aspect of it reflects easy accessibility. What do you dislike? It is difficult to navigate between slack channels. Especially if a user doesn't remember the link, then can't access slack channels outside of the one I'm already on. Also difficult because you have to remember the ...

Fast communication within remote teams
What do you like best? It is very easy to use and Slack keeps giving you tips on how to use any feature. PC version and the mobile APP work extremelly well. Direct messages, Threads and sharing files are the features we use the most for keeping all our team connected and don´t use Email so much for internal conversations. What do you dislike? When you reach the storage space it start deleting all files without letting you choose which file will be erased. Recommendations to others ...

Very helpful for remote business use
What do you like best? As a work-from-home employee, Slack has been very helpful in keeping all employees in the loop. We are able to message back and forth under different categories so that we know what issue we are addressing. We all have this app on our phones so that we can assist each other and stay up to date in real time. I appreciate the mobility of the app and the categorization of the different subject matters we have in our business. What do you dislike? Although I appreciate ...

Slack allows our teams to communicate easily
What do you like best? I like that Slack is easy to set up and configure. Within minutes we had groups, channels, and users set up and apps installed to help us manage our teams. Once set up it's very easy to use. What do you dislike? It is very expensive. It's priced per user and so even if you have a user who uses it say 4 times a month it's not much value, but at the same time we needed a universal solution as we can't have 2-3 communication tools. I like it but definitely there ...

Communication Tool
What do you like best? What I like best about Slack is that you can have more than one group on Slack. You have channel that each group your in goes under. Slack is a great collaboration tool
What do you like best? Slack is a very easy to use tool and makes it quick and simple to communicate with other people. You can share files etc in a secure environment making it simple to update people. One of the best features is that you can do video and audio chats. In some environments, I can't use Skype for Business and I have never had any problems with Slack. I also like the slack bots you can create. I have the basic one that provides me with a humourous cartoon each day. I ...

Connect communities with Slack
What do you like best? Slack is very good and high-performance platform for chatting with colleagues or company employees. All the members can share the content with this community app. File sharing and screen sharing is the best features that I liked in one place. Also, it provides chatbot integration for personal usage. What do you dislike? Sometimes Slack became slow because it's integrated all the features that are required for group chat. It's hard to understand the working flow of ...

Good Team Communication Tool
What do you like best? Slack is a great team communication tool that allows you to keep people and projects on topic. The use of hashtags and the overall design appeals to the general employee pool as they engage in the tool as it resembles current social media standards. The speed of rollout was excellent as there was little to no educational curve. The platform is easy to set-up, easy to understand and easy to use for all team members involved in the project(s. The #random channel ...

The communication tool to work as a team
What do you like best? I like the tool because I as the owner of my workspace, appoint my administrators to help me manage the team, so that together, we invite the other members and we indicate how to use slack, in this way we form a network of work in collaboration. The good thing about everything is that it allows me to interact through open, closed or shared channels, depending on the case in which I am dealing with the work team. What do you dislike? I consider a disadvantage of ...
