Slack isn't slacking!
What do you like best? I love how easily gifs, emojis, and links can be featured in text conversations. In addition, it is simple to highlight lines of code out from normal lines of text. I find that this particularly helps when discussing debugging with someone 12 timezones away. The last big thing I like about slack is the slackbot channel, where I often workshop ideas (like with the rubber duck method or just ask it to set reminders! What do you dislike? Sometimes slack on my mobile ...

What do you like best? I like that the formatting of the chats. It just looks neater and more organized than other chat and collaboration platforms out there. I can easily search or scroll through the channel thread to search for past messages and resources. The colors of the user interface are also somehow very inviting and make me feel comfortable using it. What do you dislike? There isn't a lot to dislike. I think the pricing can be a bit high and might not justify the cost if you're ...

Positive experience, great way to relay info to a large group of employees
What do you like best? I love that I am able to communicate with all of my co-workers across the country. I do not have to deal with group texts constantly pinging and can instead turn on or off notifications as I see fit. It is also so easy to communicate via DM with the boss that sent the original message or even with co-workers that may have the answer. No longer do I need to facebook message or get everyone's phone number. I get to keep my personal life private while communicating ...

Channels allow for organized communication
What do you like best? The channel feature of Slack allows my team to separate work and play. Whether separating serious projects from social conversations or simply dividing the different projects or subjects that we are all balancing as a team, the channels bring organization to what once was chaos. I love the photo features, which allow for both captions and comments. It is also easy to locate and timestamp photos and other graphics sent in groups. What do you dislike? Although the ...
