Team collaboration tool
What do you like best? Slack allows our team to stay in touch throughout our new remote work world. It's easy to have conversations, share documents and information and stay connected to conversations and happenings around the virtual office. What do you dislike? It's easy to get overwhelmed when you're in a lot of channels or a lot of conversations are happening. I wish that mentions and reactions would stay bolded until activity was looked at. It's easy to have those lost if you ...

Slack is my favorite communication work tool
What do you like best? My favorite thing about slack is being able to quickly have a private or public conversation with people. Also the custom emoji's are great. I love being able to not reply and just use an emoji sometimes so the user doesn't get notified. I use the reminders a lot to which are useful instead of having to open my calendar or write it down. Slack integrations are also very useful. What do you dislike? Slack is resource heavy and eats up my laptop battery. It'd also ...

Great Idea, Good collaboration tool
What do you like best? On Screen Share you can annotate on the user sharing his screen. This is amazing because you can collaborate real time and help share ideas. Also once you click again, the initial one disappears and another on comes up which helps the convo moving. What do you dislike? Nothing much from product perspective. From user perspective, lot of users are allowed to create lot of channels and that sometimes gets overwhelming. Again this is an user issue, Need to ...

Very efficient and feature-rich internal messaging system
What do you like best? Perfect for managing separate conversation logs for individuals, groups, channels, etc. What do you dislike? I wish there was a feature to see the most recent individual messages you received, even after they've been read. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Easily be able to keep track of tasks and conversations internally and also with external partners who may have been granted access

Distracting but useful
What do you like best? Instantaneous chat and sharing between multiple peers and groups, very extensible! What do you dislike? Can be extremely disruptive to a user’s workflow, but that is more down to usage. It’s not the best for ongoing records, though search is very good. Recommendations to others considering the product: I think you’d hard pressed to find a better solution for team chatting, though there are probably better solutions for more official lines of communication ...

Easy, hip, customizable message platform
What do you like best? Slack is great for keeping in touch with your team, especially if you are remote. The ability to upload gifs is appreciated and lightens the workday. Slack status And ability to connect to calendar is convenient to see who is available. What do you dislike? The mobile app could use work. I don’t like how the mobile app only shows online if you have the app open. It should show if it’s running in the background. Sometimes the mobile app says it “can’t display ...

The future of business communication
What do you like best? From a strictly business standpoint, Slack is awesome with bridging the often wide gap of communication between ALL employees in a company, including C-suite all the way down the junior level employees. It makes "staying on the same page" seem a lot more feasible. It's an extremely efficient way to cross collaborate with different departments or post updates on projects or current operational issues. The "call" feature is great. On a more personal note, I love the ...
