Very useful tool to interact with team

What do you like best? We can do many things in slack, messaging, audio-video calls, file sharing, screen sharing. The best part is various apps that can be added and integrated with Splunk and it makes life much easier. I like the ability to write an app to integrate with your application. What do you dislike? I dislike the part, that you cannot manage a channel you created, you can only add users, but cannot remove them. Recommendations to others considering the product: It ...

Great communication tool for the workplace

What do you like best? Love the different slack channels we use at work. Some are work related and others are silly like "what to get for lunch." Slack has been a great tool to communicate and foster community in the large company and I appreciate it as well for bringing people with similar interests together via the social channels. For work itself, the team has their own channel and we can also privately message each other. It also has good accuracy at telling me who is currently online ...

the most powerful, popular team messaging app!

What do you like best? I’ve used Slack for nearly three years. Personally, I’m a big fan. I can pop onto Slack to check in with my manager, see what other teams are up to and share what I’m working on for real-time feedback. And if I’m in the writing groove and don’t want to be disturbed, I can pause notifications until I’m ready to tackle them, enabling me to work undisturbed and catch up when I’m ready. What do you dislike? No phone support. Tech support is limited to 24-hour ...

Slack is the new MSN

What do you like best? The amount of API integrations that are possible! It seems as though every one of my projects and applications I need critical messages or notifications for, I can pop them right into Slack! It's phenomenal! What do you dislike? There are times when on a slower or not up to date PC, Slack will encounter issues. In my type of business (computer software) you would think everyone has a modern device, sometimes thats just not the case! In those scenarios, you can ...
