The color picker has a known lag when sampling from external applications, which matters if you're matching brand palettes frequently. Before committing, verify in a demo that Sketch's component system (symbols) works for ...Read more

Best design app out there for web work, period!
What do you like best? The ease of use and workflow is what makes Sketch my go-to design program. Everything is web-first and the styles are CSS based, so anything you design in Sketch can easily be translated to HTML/CSS (it will even give you the code, or translate files using a program like Zeplin. In addition to that, the community of plug-ins make the possibilities endless. What do you dislike? Some quirky bugs are slightly annoying, but you learn to work around them. Also, ...

Software Evaluation
What do you like best? I liked that it had intuitive tools that were easy to use and easy to figure out. I liked that Google had originally developed the software. What do you dislike? I disliked having to pay once my free time had exppired and I realized I must really pay to use it in order to have reasonable functionality. Recommendations to others considering the product: Find out just how realistic your design could be. A virtual 3D reality is ever-so time saving! What ...

Easier than Ai or Photoshop
What do you like best? I like that the best features of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop are featured in Sketch. Illustrator's strength is vector and Photoshop (as far as I am concerned is image correction. Sketch does a REALLY good job at offloading my Illustrator work, and a decent job with work that would otherwise be done in Photoshop. What do you dislike? When I first started using Sketch I was weary of if I would continue to use it, but it really grew on me. Recommendations to ...

One of the best design asset design tools I have used, however pricing is becoming a concern.
What do you like best? The user interface compared to competitors (i.e. Illustrator is minimalistic and get's out of your way. Others are bloated and Sketch get's unnecessary UI elements out of the way. This approach let's me focus on creating digital assets for application interfaces and feels comfortable. What do you dislike? Though the price is good, they switched to a subscription-like model which is very disappointing to me. You get updates for 1 year and then you are cut off. ...

Sketch - Digital Design Done Right
What do you like best? You can often tell how well software was designed by how long it takes a new user to become proficient with it. In my experience, Sketch had one of the shortest learning curves of any software I've ever tried. Exporting is extremely well done with multiple sizes and file types that can very easily be made in one single export. Additionally, Craft from InVision is a *must have* plugin for Sketch that allows for powerful process improvements for the designer. These ...
