Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Sketch is macOS and iPad only—if your team uses Windows or Linux, you'll need a separate tool or browser-based alternative for those users. The color picker has a known lag when sampling from external applications, which matters if you're matching brand palettes frequently. Before committing, verify in a demo that Sketch's component system (symbols) works for ...Read more

Great and intuitive design app!

What do you like best? The best part of Sketch, is that it's so intuitive and simple. It's everything you need to pump out wireframes, mockups, or even full designs, QUICKLY. The plugins that are available for this software are endless What do you dislike? Nothing really.. it does everything I need to in a quick, design software. It would be awesome if I could open Sketch files in AI directly, but it doesn't mean it's not possible to convert it into an AI file.. it just takes a couple ...

Easy to use for wireframes.

What do you like best? You can now connect to Craft and do prototyping in the application itself. What do you dislike? That you can not actually prototype within the application. Recommendations to others considering the product: Add a prototyping feature besides connecting with Invision or Craft What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I'm creating wireframes for product design. That its easy to use and quick to create the wireframes.

Quick assets with Sketch App

What do you like best? It is a very simple program to use. If you don't need all the bells and whistles of Adobe Illustrator, Sketch App is definitely an easy option to use for vector art and assets. What do you dislike? There is nothing I dislike. I use Sketch and Adobe Illustrator depending on what I need to do. If i need to do something quick and more UX/UI oriented (like a quick flow I would be more inclined to use Sketch. Recommendations to others considering the product: You ...

Happy transition from Adobe combo

What do you like best? A viable alternative to Adobe. The pricing and the balance versus easiness in use and results on the bottom line What do you dislike? There is no dislike. Even the cost for upgrading does not compare to Adobe Recommendations to others considering the product: Try and buy. Saves money, time and increases workflow production ROI. I am definitely recommend Sketch as an option to move from pricey apps. I am not the guy that does not pay and looks for cheap ...

Sketch Review

What do you like best? It is super easy to use and very simple. The use of shortcuts are very useful and the layout is easy to read and understand. What do you dislike? It does not have as many features as I would like it to have. Editing simple photos is difficult. Sometimes, I will paste a simple photo onto Sketch and hope to edit it, but the editing features are limited. Sure, Photoshop does this well, but switching between software programs can be time consuming. What problems are ...

Almost Perfect!

What do you like best? The simplicity of the UI, and the ability to create pixel perfect designs. What do you dislike? I dislike that there are no built in rapid prototyping, or public previewing features. Recommendations to others considering the product: Sketch is wonderful, but if you want to have any prototyping features, they're not built in. However, there are is a great plugin out there from InVision, called Craft, which allows for these features right within sketch. ...
