Spotsaas Editor’s POV

Sketch is macOS and iPad only—if your team uses Windows or Linux, you'll need a separate tool or browser-based alternative for those users. The color picker has a known lag when sampling from external applications, which matters if you're matching brand palettes frequently. Before committing, verify in a demo that Sketch's component system (symbols) works for ...Read more

Associate Creative Director

What do you like best? simplicity and use of the product. Also like that a lot of mock up an UI templates are mostly sketch specific these days. The symbols feature is the best of all their competitors. What do you dislike? I dislike that everything is a plug in. Having to use another party for prototyping isn't great and if that had many of these plug in tools as their own built in, then I would think that most users would choose them over their competitors. Recommendations to ...

Sketch review

What do you like best? It has a really simple and easy to use platform. What do you dislike? The price point was a dealbreaker when I was a student and wanted to learn how to use Sketch. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Great for wire framing! The tools are very well organized and intuitive to use.

Greta tool for high-fidelity mockups

What do you like best? Sketch is a powerful tool that has unlimited possibilities. You can create anything from scratch or start with a beautiful template found online. What do you dislike? The learning curve is a bit steep because sketch has so many different tools. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I build various mockups and wireframes to show clients potential product solutions

The best soft for design ever

What do you like best? This soft is built for designers by designers. They really know what do we need to create great projects. I used to use Adobe Illustrator for designing websites, but one day my friend suggest me to try Sketch. I thought it would be hard to start with a totally new soft, but not. It is so simple, that people who don't understand what is web design is, can easily learn how to create simple elements in Sketch. I tried to use Figma for a few days, but at the moment ...

I rate Sketch better than Phostoshop.

What do you like best? I have come to associate Sketch with a fast paced learning curve.I picked this up quickly in just a few days and this is the only design tool I was able to understand this fast..I love the Sketch user interface and how easy it is to navigate around it. I like the ease with which I am able to create symbols on this program ,and also the ease with which I am able to create artboards. What do you dislike? This is a designers dream,at least it is for me ...

Industry Standard for Wireframes and Mid Fidelity mockups

What do you like best? Continuous updates, active and supportive community of users, plugins, lots of apps that can import sketch files, versioning with abstract, and importing to animation software for higher fidelity prototyping. I've been using sketch since 2014, tried others like Figma, XD and invision studio and I keep going back to using sketch. Rarely crashes like other software (XD. Very reliable tool for doing UX Design or UI Design work. What do you dislike? no built in ...

Great UI Design Tool

What do you like best? Sketch is a great alternative to the Adobe Universe. The pricing is a huge draw, although I use both Adobe Products and Sketch–Sketch is much more geared towards UI design. Asset export is a strong feature as well as the ability to add plug-ins. What do you dislike? It takes a little getting used to when you've been accustomed to Adobe UI for so long. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Creating wireframes and UI ...

Sketch for the best results!

What do you like best? I learned this programme from scratch and I love it. It only took me a few hours to be up and running, its so simple to understand and get to grips with. The possibilities are endless for UI design. I love how many other programmes work with it seamlessly as it makes my workflow really quick. The pricing is a grat bonus too, super affordable. What do you dislike? The interface can get a bit messy when you have a lot of documents open with loads of layers and ...

Efficient way to bring wireframes to life

What do you like best? It's simple to understand and navigate; I was able to start designing with just some quick online tutorials. File sizes are small, therefore, I won't have to worry about lags or the file crashing. The problem I had with Photoshop was that with the ridiculous amounts of layers, it was really difficult to locate a certain layer. However, with Sketch, I never had to worry about finding any layers as I can easily select them and with the 'symbol' function, it has saved ...

My experience with Sketch has mostly been amazing.

What do you like best? The most lovable part of Sketch is its learning curve,I should state that I picked this tool up in less than 24 hours and this was amongst the first software I had such a fast learn curve with. Also important is the size of design files I create with Sketch, they are usually very lightweight; thus making it faster to share them and reducing the likelihood of them crashing. The best part of Sketch is the sheer amount of plugins it allows users like myself to tap ...
