Love Developing for Sitecore

What do you like best? The thing I like best about Sitecore is its extensibility. There isn't a business need we can't address. What do you dislike? What I dislike about Sitecore is that it seemingly releases products that weren't fully fleshed out. For example, SXA, EXM, WFFM have been super buggy in my experience. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Using the Sitecore Experience Platform allows non-technical employees of my company ...

Not too shabby

What do you like best? The developer ability to automate our procedures, and empower our marketing team is fantastic. What do you dislike? Finding appropriate developer documentation without communicating with a partner can be fairly challenging. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Mostly CMS based problems, but our automation capabilities for our small team really help us excel.

Friendly tool for broad range of users

What do you like best? While the platform is fairly easy to use for users with varying technical aptitude, it's capable of delivering somewhat complex, custom user experiences on a variety of channels. What do you dislike? The platform can be glitchy at times. Also have been known to find work arounds. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Hope to deliver more personalization soon.

My thoughts on Sitecore

What do you like best? Our organization has been using SItecore for the last 7 years and we have upgraded twice and are now going to move up to 9.2. This is the most exciting upgrade for the marketing team because of the ease of the digital personalization. There is a learning curve for content authors but once they are in the system for a few times, it becomes much easier. What do you dislike? The Sitecore system is somewhat complex for Personalization... with the profiles, pattern ...

Sitecore From An An Account Perspective

What do you like best? The fact that it is constantly evolving and continuously becoming easier to use over time makes the platform one that is engaging for clients of mine. What do you dislike? Support is sometimes difficult to get ahold of, and it would be great to have additional non-technical resources available to the account management side of the house. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Several clients are creating ...

I have used AEM and SDL Tridion and I like Sitecore much better

What do you like best? Great developer support/experience. The C# development platform/approach is very extensible and well organized. The Editor UI is good/very good (although I think AEM is a bit slicker/easier to use). I like working in the Microsoft stack and the Sitecore community is amazing. What do you dislike? Sitecore is a bit complex which is fairly natural, but it can be hard to get a foothold into a new topic. In particular, the API documentation and examples are not very ...

New to Sitecore - impressed

What do you like best? I like the personalization and the scalability. Interested to see how we can unlock all this data and create a better experience for our customers. The possibilities are endless. What do you dislike? That it's new and need to know what we need to consider. We are only just scratching the surface What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Personalization. Data collection. Ease of creating pages and using components.
