Good product, but it is not easy to do digital marketing.

What do you like best? Time to market. Quick and easy to do content management. What do you dislike? It takes a lot of time and effort to master the digital marketing aspect of the platform. Technical problems with configuration and upgrades. Nothing works out of the box as is marketed by Sitecore. Elevate the experience

What do you like best? Sitecore is a very flexible and extensible framework. What do you dislike? Sometimes Sitecore is very buggy and looks like it was not well tested. Also bugfixes are often not present in newer releases. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are building inovative solutions for our customers with Sitecore. Having all experiences managed under one hood is premordial.

Powerful Platform with Difficult Startup

What do you like best? Managing translated content and distributing across multiple domains is extremely easy. Likewise having control over and visibility to website content projects is something Sitecore does much better than other platforms I've worked with. What do you dislike? What do you like best? Using the actual platform capabilities for profile buildup and in the end use that for personalization in the long run What do you dislike? Some of the interfaces could use an upgrade to facilitate more information What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The marketing features out of the box and the possibilities for the marketing automation

XConnect and personalization combination

What do you like best? There are a lot of possibilities combined, I especially like the combination of analytics data and external data in Xconnect and using that for personalization. What do you dislike? Some times the process of combining the data can be pretty slow. A lot of fine tuning is needed. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Custom personalization rules based on analytics and external data

Customisatiion at scale

What do you like best? Allowing us to do over 100 individual market sites addressing individual market needs from one platform. What do you dislike? User interface could be improved but hope that comes in Horizon. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Local marketing of a global product.

What do you like best? The ability to update quickly and the amount of features that they offer. What do you dislike? The manuel process that need to be done to utlize the tool to its fullest. Sitecore plays nice with others

What do you like best? My production team likes the ease of in building content through the Content Editor. It is easy to map components, and to hook into plug-ins like Smartling and Brightcove. What do you dislike? The opportunity of Sitecore Experience Platform is massive, however complexities with my team's deployment makes the Experience Platform inconsistent.
