Powerful Platform with Difficult Startup

What do you like best? Managing translated content and distributing across multiple domains is extremely easy. Likewise having control over and visibility to website content projects is something Sitecore does much better than other platforms I've worked with. What do you dislike? The training offerings and support from Sitecore are in many cases non-existent. In others they are downright awful. I can't believe their leadership team thinks that's remotely acceptable. If you were to ...

Sitecore review

What do you like best? Our entire company is using it so it will best in the long run. What do you dislike? The user experience has been very difficult for Content Authors/Editors. I don't like having both a content editor and an experience editor. The CMS we had before sitecore was much easier. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Serving up Process Content to our Agency Owners and Staff and Sales Leadership to enhance Customer ...

Powerful platform that could improve the marketer's experience

What do you like best? I like how comprehensive all of the features are for the platform and the ability to connect to all of your professional applications. It is clear that this is for mid to large companies that want to make the digital experience core to their strategy. What do you dislike? How developer-necessary the platform is in order to enable all of the functionality. I understand that you will always need to invest additional time and resources to get the most out of any ...

Elevate the experience

What do you like best? Sitecore is a very flexible and extensible framework. What do you dislike? Sometimes Sitecore is very buggy and looks like it was not well tested. Also bugfixes are often not present in newer releases. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are building inovative solutions for our customers with Sitecore. Having all experiences managed under one hood is premordial.

Good product, but it is not easy to do digital marketing.

What do you like best? Time to market. Quick and easy to do content management. What do you dislike? It takes a lot of time and effort to master the digital marketing aspect of the platform. Technical problems with configuration and upgrades. Nothing works out of the box as is marketed by Sitecore. Recommendations to others considering the product: Be ready that "out of the box" features do not exist. You need a strong dev team to set up the solution and support it. What ...

Still the best enterprise CMS and CX platform out there

What do you like best? The platform represent a 15 year market leading position among any competitive platforms. Sitecore have not relied on legacy, but the later year be able to reinvent, develop or get into tech partnership that combined increase the total value of using Sitecore and be part of the Sitecore ecosystems. What do you dislike? Sitecore even with all the developer tools, SXA, SIF, SIA and stuff still a high initial investment to implement and it is a complex journey with ...

Head and shoulders better than the rest

What do you like best? The intuitive content editor makes quickly and easily makes content work fast and easy. It feels like an extension of myself. What do you dislike? I have no issues with Sitecore. All of our issues are implementation related, not Sitecore related. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Transformational digital change in our organization, redesigning four websites and over 5k pages of content to Sitecore.

Very raw impression of sitecore as a developer

What do you like best? Honestly I am not qualified to write a formal review at current stage, as we are just at the POC stage of implementation sitecore as the new CMS solution in our product, that's the reason I give a Neutral rate (no good or no better at this point from my point of view, not product ). We had XP1 installation and development training. Few things I find good about sitecore are: 1) It seem pretty easy to create and publish content and content structure 2) The multiple ...
