What do you like best? I love that it allows me to create and deliver content in a fast way. What do you dislike? The analytics section could look better, it looks kind of old and it is difficult to read. Recommendations to others considering the product: Tell the marketing department about this great tool! What do you like best? We have really enjoyed using Sitecore CMS, it's functionality and versatility plus out of the box options are awesome! What do you dislike? A Developer's Perspective
What do you like best? Coming from IBM Web Content Manager, I appreciate the ability to easily extend and alter anything in the platform that we need for our projects. Working in the IBM platform much of the components and features were a "black box" and were either impossible or very difficult to enhance. Sitecore comes with a bit less "out of the box" when not using SXA, but everything available is extendable and easily enhanced and the process to add new features is straightforward. ...

Has potential, but...
What do you like best? Scaleability, customized, going into SaaS soon, forward-moving. What do you dislike? It is partly both our fault and the vendor, but we rushed to deployment too soon and didn't setup things such as analytics properly when we deployed. What problems are you solving with the product? A solid platform for any website
What do you like best? Our developers and content team can work together to define and implement pages and components that will be used on the site. The developers set up the content in a way that allows the content team to spin up new pages and content without having to rely on developers or deployments. What do you dislike? What do you like best? I really like the core cms part, the architecture behind it and the way that almost everything is customizable and possible. I think "newer" stuff like the rules engine is great too. What do you dislike? I think there is a lot of the marketing features, that are not robust enough and has too many bugs. I think it's a shame that web forms for marketers seemed to have lost features and have more bugs when it went form Sitecore 7 to 8, and that it lost even more ...

Upgrades from older builds can be a bit of a hassle, sometimes requiring several "hop" on interim builds. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
